  • We love zoos and aquariums so we usually visit every big city (& some small) and san Antonio was no different. The aquarium is more like an educational petting zoo for sea life and birds. There are lo...  more »
  • It was better than expected but still seemed...dirty. I don't know how else to describe it. Kids will like it.  more »
  • Positives: Although they don't promise you will not be bitten, there are a lot of things you can touch, and/or feed. The staff is very friendly. Although small, you can touch a lot of the fish, stingr...  more »

  • It's more geared towards children but the aquarium still does have a lot to offer like hosting private events and party's. I have children so I like to bring them here to pet the animals and feed them or bounce around in their moon bounces they have 5 of them. This is also the only place I know that caters to individuals depending on holidays which I think is awesome (moms free on mothers day, veterans or active military free on memorial day to name a few). I will definitely be coming back here
  • Better than Seaword and Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch! More interactive and much cheaper, too! Do yourself a favor and buy lots of tokens so you can feed all of the various animals. The money for the feed seems steep until you see the delighted look on your family member's face when they get to feed the animals in one of the multiple feeding stations. How many times in your life are you going to feed a shark or an iguana? We spent less there than we did at Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch, and had way more fun. It is air conditioned, too!
  • While this aquarium isn't anything fancy and is slightly small, the selection of animals and the total hands on experience it provides gave us a good two hours of fun. My kids loved everything from feeding the animals, touching the animals, playing in the sand pit, pony rides, and playing in the small areas they have where younger kids can be entertained. The people working there are awesome too, we had a great time and will definitely return!
  • It was so great! George B. was so awesome in teaching us how to feed the stingrays and sharks. All the workers are very kind and the animals are so cool. We could touch all these fish ducks snakes birds and so much more!
  • My husband and I took our 5 yr old, 4 yr old, and 1 yr old to the Aquarium on 6/3/2017. It was the best experience my kids have had in a very long time. They enjoyed it a lot and best of all us as parents had so much fun as well. We will be visiting again soon!
