Palmer Course At La Cantera, San Antonio
(4.6/5 based on 220+ reviews on the web)
Tee up and keep your drives straight and true on Palmer Course At La Cantera, one of the most challenging courses in this region. Spanning nearly 6,400 m (7,000 yd), this Arnold Palmer-designed course requires even the world's top players to bring their A-game. As you play the course, which has been ranked among the top 50 golf resorts in the country by Conde Nast Traveler, try not to let slices and hook shots detract from the Texas hill country. Finish your round in the well-appointed, terra-cotta-roofed clubhouse. The hilly terrain can provide a rigorous workout if you choose to walk. Consider renting a cart to save your energy for your swing. Make Palmer Course At La Cantera a centerpiece of your San Antonio vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our San Antonio trip itinerary maker.

  • The Palmer course is one of two courses at LaConterra. Palmer is more tree lined and has some great elevation changes. It's somewhat more difficult than the Resort course but if you enjoy a challenge,...  more »

  • A real nice course with awesome views and carpet plush fairways. The staff was friendly and were helpful. Great job and I will be back for more golf soon. Come and see for yourself!
  • Steve the starter and all the staff were all so professional and helpful. The course was awesome! We had a wonderful time and will be back. Visiting from MN. So we are picky about good golf. Had a foursome of all different skill levels and had an awesome day. Great that they had the ladies tees up where they should be for our 2 ladies. Very fair.
  • Course was in great condition. Plays extremely fair and the guiding sticks they place on the fairways help immensely on the blind shot holes. The staff was professional and courteous. The beer cart came at least 2 times per side. The views were amazing. Loved the course. You can get reasonable rates $75 on golf now. I'll play here again. It owes me a few strokes.
  • Most incredible views on an excellent coarse!
  • Good course. Good condition. Almost great experience. We got kicked off on the approach on 18. Totally Bunk! When did cart barn attendants start calling the shots?
