Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium (informally Wolff Stadium) is a stadium in San Antonio, Texas, USA. It is primarily used for baseball, and is the home field of the San Antonio Missions minor league baseball team, Double-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres. The San Antonio Missions are part of the Texas League, a minor league baseball organization. The UTSA Roadrunners baseball team also plays some home games at the stadium. It was opened on April 18, 1994 (as the San Antonio Municipal Stadium) and has a capacity of 6,200 fixed seats and a grass berm in left field that can seat about 3,000. The Wolff features 14 luxury suites, a 500-person picnic area down the right field line and an all-you-can-eat-and-drink fiesta deck that can be rented for groups of 25-200. The dimensions (from home plate to the outfield wall) are: 310 feet (94.5 m) to left field, 402 feet (122.5 m) to center field, and 340 feet (103.6 m) to right field. The stadium is located about 8 miles (13 km) to the west of Downtown San Antonio.FeaturesViewing the stadium from the outside entrance there are two large brick bell towers, in keeping with a southwestern theme, and echoing an architectural feature of the old Mission Stadium. Most of the seating area is shaded by a large high roof. There are no poles to impede views as seen in some older minor league parks at the Double-A and Single-A level. A concourse wraps around the playing field and enables spectators varied views of the game and stadium.

  • I had a great time here. The parking isn't bad for a ball park. While food is expensive, it was really good. The kettle corn was fantastic. I'm not sure there is a bad seat in the place. The people who work attire park were awesome. They were professional and friendly. I'm looking forward to my next baseball game.
  • We went for the Missions game and the family had a blast. We had a couple of drunk guys behind us but other than that, we had a great time. Dollar night Tuesday was good too. The selection on what is a dollar is minimal, but decent.
  • Watch live baseball! Eat stadium food! What's better than that? Maybe bring a cushion bc the stadium benches can be a bit hard after a few minutes. Get ready to catch a foul ball or a t shirt. Let's play ball!
  • Still one of the crown jewels of minor league baseball as far as I am concerned. First opened in 1994, this place continues to have inexpensive prices for seating as well as parking. Traffic in and out of the place is a breeze, the tickets gates and the concession lines are also quick. Currently the AA club for the San Diego Padres - support our SA Missions and you will have a great time! Parking is only $5 and the most expensive tix I could find were $25 - a great price for family fun!
  • We had such a GREAT time at the Ballpark. Wonderful atmosphere the Staff was Fantastic the Concessions just could not have been better. And last but not least the people of San Antonio are World Class!
