Where to stay in San Antonio

To be at the heart of San Antonio's buzzing atmosphere and attractions, stay along the city's River Walk. Lined with hotels of all levels, the area is known for excellent dining and nightlife, and is close to all of the city's main sights. While this area tends to be pricier than other neighborhoods, it is the best option for those traveling without a car who want to take full advantage of their vacation time in San Antonio. For a more rustic experience, venture outside of the city limits to stay at one of the old-world guest ranches that dot the beautiful countryside.

  • So much fun with my girls to hang out that's not too crowded, inexpensive, and has something each of us like. Convenient free parking & close to home. Staff are extra friendly and so are the guests. If you or any family members have disabilities, it's free for admission and rides. Pack a lunch and you're set. Don't forget sunscreen and sunglasses. It's hot out there! Have a blast.
  • My wife recently took a field trip with her special education elementary classes to Morgan's Wonderland. Her experience walking in was nearly indescribable as she was overwhelmed with excitement for everything the park had to offer. It is a park truly designed for individuals of all capabilities to enjoy themselves. The staff was friendly and included individuals with disabilities as well which was a positive reminder to parents that safe havens exist in which their children can truly be themselves. Everyone was willing to help and it was a beautiful thing to see their satisfaction in being able to assist people with anything they needed. During the visit they were able to meet with the owner who expressed great excitement for the up-and-coming water park that is currently under construction. The gift shops and stores were budget friendly. I know that it was truly a blessing from God for her, her students, and their parents to experience this place together. Looking forward to future trips to this magnificent place.
  • The concept on which this place was built is so beautiful and families with special-needs I'm sure are very appreciative but unfortunately it's not at all what I thought. It only has four rides and the only thing that I saw that was truly accessible for a person in a wheelchair was a swing and riding a train that gives you a tour of the theme park. I might be wrong but I absolutely did not see anything beside a swing that was available for a person in a wheelchair and if I had fully understood what I was going into a I wouldn't have gone. My daughter enjoyed herself but I was disappointed in the lack of options. Also for a park that caters to people with special needs it's peculiar how many people just stare at the people with special needs. It would have been nice to go somewhere finally and not be stared at.
  • We love Morgan's we were there when it opened and go often. We have children with special needs and my husband is a disabled vet so this is absolutely a favorite place for us. The kids have a blast and the trackers give them a bit of independence and me peace of mind. The rides are so much fun for them and the interactive area is a favorite of my son. They can't wait for the water park to open and go have even more fun, we all cant. The staff is always friendly and helpful, I love that they hire people of all abilities. The food is okay, typical amusement park stuff. They always have special events for holidays ex: easter, Christmas, and Halloween.
  • Whole family loved it. Great experience can't wait for the zoo set up. Staff was excellent and caring. From the young lady watching my son at new beautiful water park.. to the wharf the Hispanic older gentleman saw how much my son and daughters wanted to finish, he baited the hooks and let them finish fishing he was awesome! Overall our first time experience I can bet won't be our last at Morgan's. I just wish we could've saw Morgan. A true a treasure of San Antonio. Thanks for a wonderful experience from all the staff and also for meeting my child's needs. God bless yall. See you next time 😁
