  • The park has approximately 10 miles of dirt/rock trails that are fairly well marked. I'd like to see a few more marking on the 6 mile (blue) trail, but after a few times turing around I made it. Highl...  more »

  • Fantastic park where I can take my two cattle dogs. We are new to the area, and this was a refreshing find within such a large city. A caution for dog owners on the more remote trails; we have had several run-ins, (early hours 6am-7am) with a pack of coyotes who apparently live in/close to the park boundaries. My male dog has been chased, and we've had coyotes running along-side about 15 yards off in the brush. My dogs are larger and more able to fend off a potential encounter, but a small-dog owner should keep their head on a swivel. I've not seen anything overtly aggressive, but coyotes are wild animals, (not scruffy dogs) and should be cautiously respected in a close setting.
  • I Come Here Often To Run And It's Always A Calm And Stress Free Place. Occasionally You'll See Deer, Raccoons, Or Rabbits. Long Trails That Seemingly Have No End, And Relaxing Greenery Every Where. I Recommend Avoiding The Trails After Dark Though. The Park takes on a strange and Intense Negative feel as though you were inside a structure (Yet You Are Clearly outdoors), Every Trail Seems To lead A Dead End (even ones you just came from) and For some reason my 4 flashlights seemed to have no effect on showing whats ahead whilst still shining brightly which defies my explanation. As Long as the Sun Is Up, You're In Luck.
  • The mapped trails aren't the only trails around here. Walking the park is never boring! I've been here several times, and each time my walk is different. The trails are easy to follow, but if you want you can veer off on a feeder trail. The playground is big, and you can use one of the machines nearby as you watch your kids play!
  • Great park that is well kept and includes facilities for everyone to enjoy. Paved trails recently renovated. Bike trails well maintained. Sports fields and dog park are also nice. Have yet to notice any crime or shady business in the years I have been going.
  • Hike and bike trail is very well planned out. Plenty of places for kids to play. Play grounds, baseball fields, soccer parks, exercise area and a dog park. Plenty of wildflowers and wildlife to see. Always friendly people, friendly police officers and park personnel. Kept clean, including restrooms and plenty of water fountains.
