Where to stay in San Antonio

To be at the heart of San Antonio's buzzing atmosphere and attractions, stay along the city's River Walk. Lined with hotels of all levels, the area is known for excellent dining and nightlife, and is close to all of the city's main sights. While this area tends to be pricier than other neighborhoods, it is the best option for those traveling without a car who want to take full advantage of their vacation time in San Antonio. For a more rustic experience, venture outside of the city limits to stay at one of the old-world guest ranches that dot the beautiful countryside.

  • A great karting experience if you are not a karting pilot! Very well organized and a lot of fun. Young children need to be around 48" so my kids couldn't drive this time. Had a great ride and head to ...  more »
  • We went in and got a military Discount for myself and my AF Graduate son. There was one other. We bought a "License" and then got the packages for 2 runs. Got right in within a few minutes and they he...  more »
  • So unorganized they would allow groups of 2 or 3 go then have huge groups of 9 or 10. Which is way too many for the size of the track. Don't go here!!!!!  more »

  • The carts are nice and pretty quick. The staff at check in seemed confused and a bit unwelcoming to our party of 9. The races are way to short for the price you pay. We timed it and each race was 5 minutes which for us was about 17 laps. Still enough to have fun but I think it should be more towards 10 minutes.
  • Great fun, staff are very personable and accommodating. The manager was particularly friendly and provided a great example for his staff. Preferred the old track layout since it lasted a little longer, but the new one is good too.
  • The staff was outstanding! The manager, Larry, especially was great. It was our kid's first time driving a go-kart, was a little scared to begin with, and sure enough got slammed into from behind pretty hard because our kid was in the fast lane going slow, and then lost the motivation to continue. We were embarrassed and apologetic for our child to the staff and other parents for the delay, but the staff was extremely patient and empathetic. Couldn't ask for better customer service! We will definitely go again, when it's less busy, so we're not the problem!
  • Worst thing I've ever done. They put you against the slowest people that crash you. The cars are inconsistent and the races glitch like every time to where your time doesn't show up as it was. People gave me and my friends foot extenders when we didn't need or ask for them. Horrible, and the cars are slow and have barely any traction. I slide out on some turns on some cars but not on others. Inconsistent
  • Great place, first time my girlfriend ever went go carting. she loved it. The carts are a little small for my taste but will go back when in town.
