  • I come here often because it's close to home. But love more the different levels of trails they have, from a paved side walk to a few rocky terrain area. It'll raise your heart rate for sure. Great place to take a few nature shots. And the view from the tower early morning or in the evening is worth it.
  • Miles and miles of the beautiful outdoors. Be prepared with plenty of water as the fountains are primarily only near the entrance. Dog friendly as well. The trails range from easy paved to more difficult rocky inclines. It's nice to visit in spring time when all the wild flowers are blooming. They do have a playground for kids as well as several BBQ areas. Try to make your way to the hilltop trail for a wonderful view of the city.
  • Always a great area to hike within the city! Has some elevation with a nice view from the tower and there's several shaded paths. Plenty of non paved trails with natural rock or soft mulch. Each loop is around 3 miles. Nice playground and typically clean restroom facilities in the main area with flushing toilets, soap and paper towels.
  • Love this park! Great trails, both paved and mulchy. Good hiking and natural stairs at one point too if you feel like a challenge. Pet friendly! Just wish they had bike trails too!
  • Rustic beauty, easy and challenging running trails, good picnic areas/pavillions and limited play areas. Great for older kids. The view from the observation tower as well as the breeze are great.
