  • The Gateway in Salt Lake City is a shopping centre that is very boring and happens to match. There is a lot of vacant property and there are many shops of B-garnish.

  • Still a great place to catch a movie and they have a nice variety of restaurants to grab a bite before a jazz game or stadium event. The planetarium and discovery gateway are there and are nice places...  read more »

  • I love the gateway! Its a comfortable and safe place to walk around in. Unfortunately there is no longer that many stores which is kind of a bummer. I do enjoy the stores it does have. Its a nice mix of things. It also has a really nice restaurant scene lots of things to choose from, both simple food court options, upscale, and everything in between!
  • This was my first mall experience in Salt Lake City, a beautiful outdoor venue. It's too bad that another mall opened up near-by and is pulling many of the businesses away. The Gateway is intimate, well-maintained and has outdoor activities suitable for folks of all ages on a year round basis. There is plenty of parking, with entrances on three out of four sides; a food court with a good variety of choices, a movie theater, planetarium, hands-on children's museum and an outdoor water treatment with dancing waters that will cool everyone on the hottest day. The north end of the Mall was designed for the 2002 Winter Olympics and has an impressive memorial to that time. Come by and stroll through; a great way to spend a day.
  • Great to walk around in! Beautiful Architecture, nice views, Cozy Cushiony Seating Areas with Fire Pits as Coffee Tables, Amazing Landscaping. Very nice, safe place. Security guards walk around and help tourists.
  • Gateway is a cool mall. The location is very well maintained. The security guys here have surprisingly always been very nice. I wish there were more cool stores here, though. I feel like I'm usually done shopping here very quickly because there are only a few stores worth checking out.
  • Nice outdoor mall used to have more stores. They don't now but are working on refilling up stores and remodeling it does have the children's museum and the planetarium. Which bbq both are great! Plus the movie theater's located there are nice.
