  • This park is so serene and beautifully landscaped with a little lake. I have gone to countless BBQs there and it's the perfect setting for them. It's great for jogging, walking, bike riding, photo sho...  read more »
  • This park isn't the best. There's a stinky pond where you can feed the geese and ducks, but there's tons of poop. The playgrounds (there are at least two) are just average, your basic playground with ...  read more »
  • Very nice place to celebrate Independence Day. Lots of people and most people who sit and eat your own food. Large green areas with a large pond in the middle. Lovely view of the mountains.

  • Large park, clean, well maintained, safe. The stream is beautiful. As are other spots It's very active with many people all over. People regularly cook in the pavilions. I've seen bouncy houses and food carts on a weekly basis. The pond can get gross sometimes, but it's a pond.
  • Historic, majestic, and multipurpose. This park is great for families, college students, couples, and retirees alike. Many local events are held here and large green lawns, gentle sloped hills, botanical displays, and a variable elevation lend themselves to activities , gatherings, and exercises. A lovely creek runs through it and underground tunnels connect it to western nature walks and shopping centers. Both a fixture of Salt Lake's stories past (it was once the site of a prison and sugar mill and hosts the cities largest Fireworks display) and a symbol of the ascending Sugarhouse neighborhood , this park is wonderful.
  • Great place for running during the summer! The loop on the road around the park is plenty long and varies in altitude enough to keep things interesting, but not so much that you will tear yourself up trying to go up hills. The park is also a great place to go relax and have fun. There is plenty of grass on both hills and on flat terrain. There are also shaded areas with picnic tables and benches. Finally, this is hands down the best place to be on the 4th of July for the fireworks show that happens at night. There are tons of people who go, so it's best to show up early and plan your escape (traffic gets crazy afterwards), but it's well worth it.
  • Amazing park! I ran XC here and it was a blast! Really fun place to take the family. I wouldn't come here again for the 4th of July though with my car because we waited 3 hours in traffic after the firework show. #rethinkyourcommute
  • This is a really big beautiful park. There are covered eating areas, grills and news bathrooms. There are dedicated lanes for runners and bikers. There are often great local events here too including the 4th of July fireworks. It's great because the whole area is very walkable with local shops and restaurants nearby. There are a lot
