  • This is a nice wide-open walking park, welcoming to dogs and ducks; but it is especially nice for fireworks on summer holidays, and sledding in winter snow.  more »

  • Awesome park all seasons long. Can be really busy on a nice weather weekend, but if you're with family there is always a place to wander to for a little more privacy. Loop is great for exercise, but if your walking your dog or out for a jog, the outer perimeter is a lot better. Explore along the creekside during the weekdays and you'll almost feel like you are somewhere else besides a public park.
  • Love the firework show for the Fourth of July! Lots of space on the lawn for the whole group! Just don't worry about getting out of the town very fast after the fireworks are over! I would suggest hanging out on the lawn for awhile to let people clear out!
  • This is a huge park. Lots of rolling hills and and green space. Great walking lanes. There are some small playground areas for younger kids. I deducted 1 star though because I think this park could be better developed and the playground equipment is pretty basic. For such a prominent park it should have more investment in some stellar playground equipment. Last week we wanted to use a grill here. No can do. You have to rent a Pavillion for 1/2 day for 70 dollars. Why is there no small grills and picnic tables throughout the park for free use? There are a ton of things that could be done to bring this park to its full potential but for now it is mostly a big, pretty green space.
  • Lots of open space as well as areas shaded by big trees. Easy to find a nice place to read or picnic. Plenty of space to fly kites on windy days.
  • I enjoy running here. It has a few hills to keep things interesting. The loop is a little over a mile. It has a pedestrian, bike, and car lane.
