  • When I first moved to Utah, I was at the library daily to use the Internet to look for jobs and such. It was a really great atmosphere, too. My kids got that, yesterday as we explored each level. I found myself somewhat disappointed because the library as a whole is in desperate need of a deep cleaning and touch-ups throughout. This is a centerpiece of the city and to see it getting so worn and abused is sad. On a more positive note, the staff in the children's area is awesome. They are fun, friendly, and knowledgeable. I see folks commenting on the homeless population but really that always strikes me as such an odd complaint. I don't care who is at the library if they are there utilizing it for all its worth. I don't see people sleeping or laying about, I saw folks reading and engaging in a space meant for such. It wasn't like a block away where we saw a guy smoking crack near another man that was passed out in a parking space. Sure there's a problem in the city but I think the library does a decent job keeping riff raff at bay.
  • Wow. Visited the city for a day and had to check out the library; it's one of my favorite sights in a city. The grounds of this library is beautiful. Great views from the roof top terrace and the beehives were an added bonus. I loved the cute little hair salon, library store that sold used inventory from the library and local products, as well as the art gallery. Really cool building. Located along Trax free ride area.
  • Awesome! One of the largest libraries in the country with every book you could ever want. A roof top garden and coffee shop along with a bunch of small shops on the ground floor. Almost always some fun event going on to check out.
  • I love this library. Typically take the TRAX out to it. Tons of great spots to study. Great places to eat in and around the library. Great classical music performances. Yeah, there are quite a few homeless people around but they usually just do their thing and are respectful.
  • I absolutely love this library! I only ever been in it once. But it was really cool. It's huge! And has a wide verity of books! By the way, do close at 9 most days and have the lights on till midnight? I'm very curious and confused about this
