  • I've only been to on haunted house and this place scared me to death! They do a good job with their decorations and making it look like scenes from horror movies. I was scared the whole time I was the...  read more »
  • Go here we advised acquaintances who live in Salt lake city, we hit the 25-year anniversary of the show (it was in October, 2015). We were there on Saturday and people were very much. The show itself lasted about 30 minutes, but during that time you will navizžat′sâ and nakričat′sâ so that does not seem little. You will scare the UTO everywhere. From every angle wait dirty trick. It was so bad that at the end we had nearly lost their voice. But still I recommend-you have fun!

  • Nightmare on 13th is by far one of the better Haunted Attractions in the Utah Valley. They try to change it up every couple of years to keep it interesting.
  • I love Nightmare on 13th it is and always will be my favorite haunted house EVAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • From reading other people's reviews some of the statements they have made are true. When I went with my wife and her family we got the VIP passes online so we didn't have to wait in the line outside but there was still a line on the inside. The line on the inside moved fairly fast and once we got inside the lady that night did a really good job at spacing everyone out so we got a really good scare. And we went right when they opened and when it was still pretty far out from being Halloween so it wasn't that busy. That's when you need to go to these haunted houses. A few weeks before Halloween and right when they open or close. Don't go on the weekends because that's when they're the busiest. Find time during the week to go. But yes if you go to haunted houses when they're busy especially this one then you're not going to enjoy it. It will feel like you're being herded around.
  • They work hard to use all your senses which makes it an overwhelming experience but in a good way. You can tell there is time and effort put into the sets and that they work hard to provide a good experience for each person.
  • Drove two and a half hours tow go to the fear factory and nightmare on 13th. Both were not worth the time or $$$$$$$$money. Nightmare on 13th was the better of the two but still not worth the price. They have spent a great deal of money on good special effects but the many of them triggered before or after we had passed. The crowd inside gave you little time to look and enjoy or wait for the effect to reset and spring, it felt like they real just wanted to run you in and out as fast as possible. Place had some good potential but I wouldn’t go back especially for the price.
  • Terrible crowd control! I went two nights ago with some of my friends and I'll probably never go back again. We bought VIP passes online which really seemed to help us get in there faster, but the fact that the line was already moving really fast ended up absolutely ruining everything. The lady letting people in only waited 5-10 seconds before she let the next group in so the whole time we were in there we were walking into rooms just as the actors were trying to scare the group in front of us or going back to their spots to try and scare us. Most of the time, they would just pop out, scream right in my ear, and then walk back. We didn't feel at all like the actors really cared about their jobs or were really that into it. Then the whole second half of it we were in a huge line of people about 50-75 long following each other. We tried stopping at time to help space it out but we got rushed a couple times from people telling us to hurry up and keep on moving. This place definitely gave us the feeling that they cared much more about taking our money and rushing people through as fast as they possibly could to make as much money as they could. This place has a lot of potential, but I think I only jumped like twice the whole time I was in there. There was absolutely no magic or excitement in there. My friend even got shoved and got elbowed hard in his shoulder by one of the cast members dressed up as Jason. When we tried talking about it with another actor he simply said sorry and walked away. We talked about it with one of the workers as we finished and pretty much got the same treatment. There was even a few times when I noticed an actor hiding somewhere and started staring at them and they didn't do anything. They just sat there and tried to act like they were a dummy or something even though I could see their eyes moving and blinking. There were some of them that were just casually walking around like they were taking a stroll in the park or something, not really paying attention to anything or anyone. Bottom line: get ready to be herded through there like cattle as fast as they can get ya with actors that don't try very hard to scare you plus the fact that you already know where they are cause you just saw them attempting to scare the group in front of you. Best haunted house in Utah... yeah right!
