  • We absolutely love driving up Mill Creek Canyon in the fall to see all the beautiful fall colors. There are many areas to have a picnic as well as hiking trails along the way. Great way to spend a day...  more »

  • Beautiful escape from the city although it's often crowded depending on which trails you pick. Lots of well marked trails to choose from. Mountain bikes and dogs get to share the trails which is cool because it seems dogs aren't allowed most places anymore. Make sure to bring water and hike out all you take in to keep these trails beautiful.
  • Love hiking up Millcreek Canyon! Dogs can be off leash every other day and always beautiful views. I've spent a lot ot of time up this canyon with my Siberian Husky and look forward to spending a lot more time. It's a quick trip and has hikes of all lengths and skill levels. If you've got a pup I'd recommend getting a pass and enjoying this canyon as much as I have!
  • Millcreek canyon is a beautiful place. It cost $3 which you have to pay with cash as you're exiting the canyon, so make sure you are prepared. There are tons of different hikes to do here and it's nice to get away from life and into nature. Dogs are allowed here.
  • They close the road during the winter months and we went to hike in the snow on the road. It's not a hard hike and the sledding wasn't great, but it seems to be a great place to cross country ski.
  • Great place for foliage watching. There are many trails for hiker. I climbed the Baker Pass in fall 2016 and that was such a wonderful land for aspen color.
