  • They have a little man-made set of streams, totally free, for the kids to play in. My kids loved it and would have played much longer if I let them. The paddle boats are also really fun and decently priced. The only stupid thing is that they will only let four people on at a time, even if three of those people are children (whose combined weight is less than 100 pounds) and two are adults. And if there's just one adult in the boat, it's really hard to paddle. So it's great fun as long as there are only four people in your family who want to ride.
  • A favorite park for locals. Great for relaxing. Great for working out because there are multiple paved paths as well as a nice bark path around the perimeter. The park is well lit at night. A lot of family friendly activities inside the park (pond, aviary, paddle boats, small water park). Also a lot of Pokemon.
  • This is a great park! Plenty of summer time activities for the whole family. Or just yourself! Plenty of shade to be had. Had great views of the duck pond, or go check out The Tracy Aviary located within the park on the south western side of the park. Great place to spend an entire day!
  • Liberty park is FAN-TASTIC! Huge open fields, two big playgrounds one geared for littles and one for the little-biggers. Lots of shade. Its also home to the Tracy Aviery which is worth A visit. There is also the Canyons, A splash pad which is a scaled down map of the canyons and creeks around SLC. The kids can wade in ankle deep - or- get into the larger pools which came up to my 7 year olds knees.
  • An excellent and diverse (and HUGE) city park. Good for walkers, runners, bikers, birders, drum circlers, dancers, concert goers, festival attenders, picnickers, loungers, frisbee throwers, kids, adults, dogs, star-bellied people, and regular-bellied people. Trees/shade everywhere. It's easy to spend a lazy day here. Do it.
