  • Don't go out of you way unless your a history buff or the kids want to see some old military vehicles.
  • Interesting to see the real military equipment: tanks, helicopters, and more, completely free of charge. There are open-air exhibits.

  • Great little museum. Free to enjoy. Located within the Fort Douglas National Historic Landmark and the focus of the Fort Douglas area history. They have some actives scheduled every month or so and they have active websites and facebook accounts that I have found useful. The best day to visit is during the Annual Fort Douglas Day in June. Also, don't forget to visit the nearby Fort Douglas Cemetery- great history there including German POWs killed after WWII during the Salina Massacre.
  • Growing up, I practically lived at this place. After a long absence, I started taking my kids back a few years ago, and it has only gotten better. Usually, I am disappointed by going back to places I remember fondly as a child, but this is not a disappointment. The facilities have greatly improved, the exhibits have improved, and the things that have stayed the same have stayed excellent. I love this museum, as do my kids.
  • Very interesting museum and a hidden treasure among campus. Includes a lot of history of the area while focusing on the impact of the military in the West. Would highly recommend to those interested in military history.
  • Great Utah history and gorgeous views all around.
