  • There is a lot to do at this interactive children's museum. They have a real helicopter on the 2nd floor patio, a pretend air-traffic control center and emergency dept. The kids get to pretend to fly ...  more »

  • I attended the Children's Festival on June 10th with my friend's 5-year-old. It was so much fun to rediscover the same exhibits my now teenagers enjoyed at that age. After visiting the new live beehive exhibit, my little friend said he wanted to plant more flowers at home to help the bees survive! This is such a great place to engage and to be present with a child.
  • Decent place. Employees aren't capable of dealing well with children though... my 5 year old daughter accidentally walled into the mother goose/ toddler area and a female employee snapped at her "are you a baby or a big kid!? A baby or a big kid!? You need to come out of there!" It was scary to my daughter and frankly uncalled for. I was right there ready to handle the situation. Screen your employees better and you'll get better ratings. Very disappointed.
  • We have an annual pass here and love it. We have a lot of fun with the various exhibits they have here. Our kids enjoy the puzzles, games and other activities they can play while they are here. The grocery store, house and water play are their favorites! It's a little pricey if you don't have a pass, but they offer a lot of free days throughout the year.
  • My nephew is 2.5 years old and has been a member since before he could walk. The wonderful thing about Discovery Gateway is that learning and exploring are happening no matter what the child's age or skill level. There are so many things to experience, from parent/child classes every day of the week to special exhibits and activities - both for members and visitors. I love playing and learning along with him, and you absolutely cannot beat the value of this museum. He visits at least twice a month, and I expect he will continue to love this place for years to come!
  • It's fun. Very busy when we went so not a lot to do without kids inpatiently waiting behind us and parents have to pay. Doesn't feel very clean in a lot of areas. Probably more entertaining for children 4/5 and older. Their old location was better.
