  • Lovely small museum of water fowl carvings... both decoy and decorative. There are some fantastic pieces here and admission is extremely reasonable.  more »

  • A very interesting experience, even if you're not an enthusiast. Fate brought my husband and me here while on vacation. We saw the signs and vaguely remembered reading about the place online so we went - the first room was filled with very old basic looking ducks, which sortve makes you think "oh god what have I gotten myself into?" I mean, neat but not 'price of admission' neat... But fear not traveler, it gets progressively more interesting! The last room is nothing short of mind blowing. The carvings are so insanely intricate it's hard to believe they aren't real. I mean, if the whole museum was only that last room, it'd still be worth the price of admission. Word to the wise for the uninitiated... if you're going here on a lark it's actually quite popular - this place is like the world epicenter and leading authority on all things wooden duck, and so it's likely you will find yourself alongside other people who are taking this very seriously. Overall it's super cool and highly recommended.
  • A great collection of water fowl art and an important part of Eastern Shore culture. Beautiful setting also.
  • Extraordinary collection of waterfowl art and a wonderful gift shop with lovely and quirky items. The building is quite chilly, however, so bring along a sweater or hoodie.
  • Looks like an interesting place to visit. I didn't have much time so I visited only to do the Ingress mission. There is an outside boardwalk around the pond.
  • Welcoming staff.open environment, great exhibits and events.
