  • Great to here once looking around, as motor sport fanatic! Pretty much only around the circuit, with AMG's who went about the job. A time long expecting the corkscrew, which is a tyrant in the real. If you're in the area, don't hesitate and, take a look at this legendary course!

  • We were lucky that one of the employees gave us a return to the circuit in your car. We saw American classics as they rode races, the boxes, the layout, the famous corkscrew, chicken skin, I almost cry.

  • What else needs to be said about Laguna Seca? The Andretti Hairpin, Corkscrew, it's just a fabulous world class track. Besides all the major events that happen here, there's also lots of opportunities to drive here since pretty much every organization hosts track days here. This track will always hold a special place in my heart, because my first track day was here. It's a technical track without being too overwhelming. With 11 turns, you can focus on certain sections without losing track of the other corners. It's a great place for both beginners and pros, and the volume of events there make it accessible. If you're a driving enthusiast, you owe it to yourself to come here.
  • World class race track and campgrounds. If you just want to see the racetrack quickly ask the gate attendant to just go in for a bit. Beautiful track with lots of elevation. Plenty of camping spots. This site is frequented by campers who are attending local festivals.
  • Best race track to visit with family. You can picnic underneath the trees. There's no restriction on what you can bring in. The food is great. The landscape allows fantastic viewing! The race track has a ton of character. And there's a never ending list of things to do.
  • We recently sold our home and purchased a new one between Monterey and Salinas. We had 40 days to kill before the owner of our new home could move out. We decided to live in our motor home during the interlude. We have three large dogs, so we needed a place where they would be comfortable. The Laguna Seca Recreation area at Mazda Raceway on Highway 68 is perfect for this. The views of the hills bordering highway 68 and the Eastern edge of Carmel Valley are good. There are lots of hawks and eagles thermaling on the ridges, often right over our coach. You can hear and see parts of the racetrack during the daytime, but at night the area is pleasantly quiet. If you hate to sound of race cars, ask for a space on the back side of the hills. We enjoyed it as well as watching them practice. Our dogs could walk for miles in the park and there were no negative experiences. There is a municipal rifle and pistol range in one corner of the park, and you can hear people shooting during the day, but again...not at night. The rangers were polite and helpful. The park is clean and the spaces are easy to back into. There is a very steep 16% grade into and out of the park, but it's not unsafe. The only drawback that we experienced is that you cannot drink the local water as it has high concentrations of arsenic, so we had to run into town and purchase drinking water for ourselves and the dogs. People are good about picking up after their dogs in this park, so there are no unpleasant surprises in that department. We would come back for a break during house painting or repairs as necessary. We met a lot of people on extended vacations or long trips...and again, no bad apples.... Some of the nicest were in the area for the motorcycle races during our stay and we got the clean cut ones as neighbors, so it was great.... The only missing star is because of the bad water...not that hard to deal with.....
  • I camped in the non hookup side for 2 nights. Not bad although some spaces are pretty small. If you're looking for quiet, don't stay here. Cars are on the track into the evening.
