  • Glad we went. Educational video, free site, and got to leisurely feed the fish! Nice break from driving or being in the heat. We did it over our honeymoon!
  • Someone was there to explain the procedure. Have been to several hatcheries and this one was pretty small. Enjoyable. Think younger children would be fascinated. The host gave us a can of fish food wh...  more »

  • Great place to take the kids you can actually feed the fish great place for couples never crowded very interesting
  • This is the worst fish hatchery that I have ever been to. They make you pay for small handfulls of fish good which is given for free at the nearby hatchery. If you are going with kids you should just put them in swimsuits because the walls are practically nonexistent around the ponds. I should know because I watched someone fall in. There were no workers around or security to help the person who fell in. The ponds are absolutely filthy with a huge layer of fish poop in every runway. Not all of the ponds are open and none of them show what types of fish are in the ponds. This place is not worth the drive or time especially if you have children or people who are accident prone in your group. I recommend that you go to the mount Princeton hatchery instead for better service and a cleaner place to visit
  • volunteer was super nice- gave us each a giant "maxwell house" bucket of trout-chow. great place for the kids- for a 1 hour or less activity out of the house!
