  • This attraction was short an inexpensive. You get an overview of the witch trials through the use of a short stage performance and a tour of various period scenes told through animatronics.
  • The young lady doing the tour was more interesting than the displays themselves. Could be so much better. Needs some updates
  • My husband and I stopped in here when we were in Salem over Halloween weekend. This museum is INCREDIBLY cheesy (which I kind of loved) and old. The museum consists of a talk up front describing the w...  more »

  • If you've looked into the Salem Witch Trials before or learned about them in school you'll probably not learn much new here. Nevertheless we found the tour entertaining, and as part of the 3-Attractions Ticket (including The Salem Witch Museum, The Salem Witch Dungeons and the New England Pirate Museum) reasonably priced. It's a bit bigger than the Salem Witch Dungeons, about the same size as the Pirate Museum, and was the only one in which most of the tour came from prerecorded tapes (a guide was always present to answer questions). So, if you're spending a witch themed day in Salem, I'd recommend it for fun. But if your looking for serious historical education, already know a lot about the topic and are bothered by redundancies, or simply can't appreciate laymen working to be entertaining, then skip this.
  • You're guided through different staged scenes with mannequins depicting certain historical events that lead up to and occurred during the witch trials. At each scene the guide gives a brief speech about what is being depicted then presses a button for a recording to play more information. The mannequins and recordings were a tad cheesy but they are short and interesting so you're not overloaded with information. It's a decent 15 to 20 minute tour for the money.
  • The tour was very educational and explains exactly what was behind this horrible period in American history. The tour is not intended to be scarry or make light of what happened. It dose touch ever so lightly on a little bit of occult lore and the sighting of ghosts related to the Witch hysteria.
  • Don't waste your money or time. Some interesting facts but very outdated and cheesy.
  • A little outdated but interesting historical information.
