  • The horses are very unique and each have their own detail. A very fun outing for family and children to go.
  • My brother and I were admiring the decor on the well-kept up animals on this carousel and decided - why not? We're in our 60's and grinned at re-living fun times of our youth. The bonus is that this c...  read more »
  • After work or on a lazy weekend on a sunny evening, this is a good relaxing place to hang out. at times you might get lucky to see a live music concert as well.
  • A really fun place for kids and family. One of the unique things about this carousel is that the carving 4 new animals is done in a room on the premises. You can go in that room and sometimes you can find someone there working and you can ask questions.
  • Cute carousel with a nice gift store. Beautiful upstairs organ. Some parts of the location seemed un-manned, though.
  • The carousel is always a good time. I love that cheap (1.50 a ride) and the detail that has went into the horses. I made a day of it with the two kiddos I was watching complete with playing in the playground and a snow cone.
  • Kids love the carousel... there are other in Oregon but my kids like this one more for some reason... a special short you can visit if you come at the right time... a Park to let kids run free.
  • Our girls have been coming to this gem of a carousel since they were infants for 10 years... Now 10 and 12, I brought them both down last weekend, much to the chagrin of the 'too cool for the carousel' attitude they had...they instantly recognized Mr. Mel (another treasure for our community), the horses, the sounds, the lights and the popcorn. Mel called them over and told them how long he has known them and welcomed them back again. They were off and within minutes they were on the favorite old horses Jazz and Big Sky....circling round and round. My eldest came to me in between rides and slipped her ipod in my pocket..."dont need it Dad, this is fun...!" We even have a brick embedded in the steps with their names and heart engraving. Indeed. Great place for all kids...and adults.
