  • It's a beautiful park along the water. A very diverse group of people make use of this park. From regular locals to families with infants to older people...etc. It's also nice that there is a pier to overlook the water and small beach fronts that are not private. It doesn't hurt that there are food and entertainment options for those who may be bored with just the view.
  • A great boardwalk type attraction to enjoy the waterfront. Large arcade with a mix of classic and new games, a lot of food options, and a ton of history with a great breeze to keep you cool in the summer. A nice spot for a picnic or family BBQ.
  • Happiest place on earth. Hobbs popcorn is incredible, the peanut butter taffy is wonderful, but I think my favorite is the old fashioned homemade chocolate chip ice cream. The younger kids love the boat ride and I still love the carousel.
  • Nice beaches for shelling (but not great for swimming, go to Winter Island instead). Park areas with bbq grills are popular for family parties. The boardwalk area is small and run down. The place has definitely seen better days, but it has its charms.
  • As a kid I loved this place and now as a parent I love to bring my kids here. I'm also a photographer and love coming here to take beautiful sunrise shots
