Wasn't on the itinerary but happy I found it. It's a beautiful building inside and out..right near the water. So much interesting history and artifacts inside.
This is right on the Wharf. I think Derby Wharf. Very nice place to walk on a sunny day. They have interactive information along the way and a really old lighthouse at the point. Beautiful

Such rich history to explore at this quaint seaside landmark (so much more than just witch hunts). Check in to the visitor center for free guided tours and educational films. Stroll the 9 acre grounds, visit historic buildings and ships, and take in the scenery.
This is a very well maintained historical park on Salem harbor including a long walk down to the end of Derby wharf. It's an amazing site because there are so many things here. It's where The Friendship docks which has seasonal guided tours, there are interactive learning sites for kids the whole walk down to the lighthouse, the orientation center is great, and the park rangers give free guided tours.
A great place to see a classic tall ship, enjoy the harbor and be able to walk out to the lighthouse. It's one of the best parts of downtown Salem.
Beautiful park. We watched them repair the mast of a ship. Pretty sweet!
This was a very cool place with a ton of pokestops!!!
