  • Great tour and great informative experience from our guide loved the informative and exhibits that's the museum had. Great place to check out such a great place in Salem.

  • ok, this is your typical tourist trap, kind of corny, displays are low tech but if you like pirates it's cool. Narrator is fun and informative, kids will like it but not really worth the money in a lo...  read more »
  • My friend and I had the best tour ever! We went last Wednesday and had a personal tour that lasted longer than 20 minutes. The guide was hilarious and on point with his facts. Side note: let the guide speak and read the signs after. The guide has way better descriptions than the wall.
  • Awesome little museum dedicated to the history of pirates. It is nice that they do not only focus on the Salem pirates, but all pirates. Very informative, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. This place is a definite must stop location, in Salem.
  • Surprisingly informative and entertaining for history buffs. Not the most high tech, but well done.
  • Friendly and educational, not very long so that was nice after a day of walking and tours.
  • This was such a fun tour! I found it highly entertaining and very informative. Obviously given the name if the museum, you don't learn anything about witches, just pirates. Our tour guide was dressed for the part and had a very projecting voice that could easily be heard throughout the entire tour. The walk-through was decorated so accurately, I honestly felt like I was walking through a cave hunting for treasure right along with the pirates. Very fun and entertaining, I would highly recommend this to anyone that was interested in learning more about pirate legends from the Salem coastal area.
