  • Salem is steeped in history, and piracy was grave concern for most of its history. We went as a family with older teens and it was worth a trip. Not worth a second trip at the moment like most of the ...  more »

  • My friend and I had the best tour ever! We went last Wednesday and had a personal tour that lasted longer than 20 minutes. The guide was hilarious and on point with his facts. Side note: let the guide speak and read the signs after. The guide has way better descriptions than the wall.
  • Really cool and informative. Slightly dated, but it's still awesome to walk through.
  • The museum puts together a very good and breif history of many of the pirates from the area and the displays are very well done, although some are very well aged.
  • Awesome little museum dedicated to the history of pirates. It is nice that they do not only focus on the Salem pirates, but all pirates. Very informative, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. This place is a definite must stop location, in Salem.
  • Makes for a nice change of all the Witch Trails redundancy. ;)
