  • It's a very beautiful park with multiple trout in the streams. We had campsite 412 and the current river could be accessed from our campsite. Many different areas you could fish from. If you don't fis...  read more »

  • checked out the park for future planning. the trout hatchery is cool to see if you haven't seen one.
  • Beautiful! Clean restrooms- great trout fishing comma kids love to go to the Fish Hatchery. Best time to go is in the fall to watch the trees change
  • This place tries to be something quaint and picturesque, but tends to fall short. It is always a bit too crowded, which is distracting. While the resort lodgings are fair enough, the general landscape beyond, is not picked up after quite as much as you would think it should be. The fishing aspect is such an artificial construct you may as well just get your farm raised trout from the store. While some might be excited to know that you will see deer walking about, they are practically domesticated here a fact that to the rest of us only serves as a reminder of the basically specious environment. In the end it is to fishing as what bumper cars are to driving.
  • My family has been coming here since I was a baby. We go every year and we will continue this tradition. Absolutely beautiful park to get away from the city for a bit!
  • Great place for a mini vacation (if you're a trout fisherman). Be sure to have Waders, there's not a whole lot of bank fishing. The area is all natural so there are no sidewalks, be prepared for wildlife and bugs. Lodging restaurant wasn't the best but it's good enough to eat at for the duration of your stay.
  • Best trout fishing in Missouri hands down. Just spent a week tent camping and fly fishing here. Great lodge and restaurant, and the general store has everything you need.
