  • I enjoy this place just as much as my daughter and grandkids! I go as often as I am able. And enjoy it as if it was the first time.  more »
  • The Enchanted Forest has changed from a simple walk through story land to a mini theme park. I have visited the park since I was a kid(over 40 years) and the changes have been nice, although very slow...  more »
  • We love this place. I grew up going here and now I take my own kids. Prices are reasonable. Don't miss the haunted house.  more »

  • There are countless reviews on this place and almost all of them are perfect or near-perfect I am definitely going to be a lemming following in line. I took my family here for the first time since moving to Oregon and oh my is it the most perfect place for a family with Children of a certain age which things to be roughly 4 to eight years old I would say. Compared to other theme parks and attraction type places this place is immensely affordable even though it does seem a little weird at first to pay to get in and then pay once again to do rides. If you are more budget-conscious there are many ways to make things cheaper and there are tons of free things to do once you pay to get in and for everything else you can either buy tickets for a buck apiece or buy a bracelet if you really want to write a bunch of stuff. I would say to double-check your child's height though to make sure they can do everything because it would suck to buy a bracelet to find out they can only write a few things due to size. My kid had so much fun doing the kiddie rides such as the bumper boats and frog jumper and the train. Also all the random tunnels and caves and buildings and whatnot that you can go in are really cool and there's even a water fountain show they can go and watch while eating inexpensive food which is rare for an attraction to have affordable food. I do want to know as well that in addition to having incredibly nice staff they also are just a very ethical place in general. If you buy too many tickets you can turn them in for a refund or if you buy a kiddie ride bracelet and decide you want to upgrade the bracelet to all the rides they don't make you pay the full amount for another bracelet you just pay the difference. They just seem like a very nice place to deal with if you have any issues. We finished our day by writing the marquee ride Ice Mountain and I mean compared to Disneyland and other multimillion-dollar properties it's kind of underwhelming but for a local theme park like this it is actually quite fun and worth the ride. I could go on and on about this place but I will stop it here and just say please please support this place and take your family here if you live anywhere remotely close.
  • I went here 30 years ago and my mom and I just took my 7 year old daughter... We all had a blast! They have kept it up incredibly well over the years and have kept adding on... They also have managed to keep their prices reasonable for admission, food, rides, face paiting, and the gift shops, etc... I would definitely recommend this as a fun day trip for Portland families!
  • This place is the most magical place in Oregon. I have been coming here since I was a small child in the early 1980's. I now have 3 children, all of which I have been lucky enough to share and create the best memories with at The Enchanted Forest thanks to the Tofte family continuing to work hard year round for their customers. Constantly they are maintaining it's original magnificence, while also often updating and adding new features and services. I could never imagine Oregon without The Enchanted Forest. I have always dreamed of living here and even though I am nearing 40 and have an almost 18 year old son, the dream persists...All because of the love of Mr. Tofte and his beautiful vision. Thank you so much for sharing this magic with us Roger! Please never close. We all need magic in our lives, especially in times like these.
  • Enchanted Forest is an annual family tradition. We love the theatre shows and the rides always delight everyone in the group, from toddlers to Grandma and Gramps! Face painting was a new surprise. :)
  • I come from a place where theme parks are large and extravagant. I have been on some of the most extreme rides in the world. That being said, this place offers a fresh new look on theme parks with so many different things to see and do in a day other than roller coasters. Playing tag with my boys was more fun than any ride. Enchanted Forest has the strongest theme in any park I have been in and pays homage to the classic fairy tales I grew up with (mostly thanks to Disney). The play they put on was well written and hilarious. We also had loads of fun playing Challenge of Mondor multiple times to try and beat our previous score. This ride is like a guided live action video game. It is more than worth it to get the unlimited passes just for this ride. I would, however like to see them expand the park maybe update a couple things like the anamatronics (or maybe that's why the haunted house is so terrifying) and get rid of the silly pay per ride nonsense. With live celtic music and a long water show in the pizza parlor and more make it well worth the money. I would love to experience this park with my family again.
