  • Amazing tour of horror! Everything looked so real and the gift shop is awesome too! So many cool movies and characters!  more »
  • Super cool to see all the monsters life sized and up close. There were plaques with info about each movie which I loved to be able to get more details about how things were made. Pennywise was my...  more »
  • We decided to stop into the Nighmare Gallery on a whim while walking Essex Street. What a place! Lifelike figures of classic and modern characters in film are all throughout the museum, each with a...  more »

  • Absolutely loved this museum. It goes through the beginnings of film with the Universal Monsters and before, and all the way to modern day. There are no scares in the walkthrough, but a few of the displays will catch some people off guard! There's a theatre in the back that I didn't stick around for but would be an excellent way to kill some time and cool off. If you love movies, this is a must!
  • Love love looove this place.... always a must when we go to Salem. They are truly horror fans and love what they do. The attention to detail on the wax displays are AMAZING. I highly recommend to anyone who loves things that go bump in the night 👻🎃🖤
  • Loved the museum! I bought the tickets online and just had to scan them from my phone to go in, very convenient. No phones allowed in the museum which kinda sucked but it was very fun and you could walk around at your own time and read at your own pace.
  • very cool and interesting horror film "museum" I wish it was a little longer and had a bit more variety but what they had was super cool. one of our sons got the last minute jitters and refused to go in. they made us good on that. I really appreciated that. the gift shop has awesome horror shirts too, I grabbed a vampire one
  • It's ok. The exhibits look nice, but for $11 per person I expected more. About a 15 minute walk through and you cant even take pictures. For the price it would have been nice if it was a little more animated. Meaning if the exhibits moved or were triggered to move as we did. Also gift shop kind of small and unimpressive.
