  • This is by far the best winery for atmosphere I have ever been to! You can actually grab a bottle of wine and relax in a cave . Which made it worthwhile. They only had one wine that I liked and they d...  more »
  • We went with another couple and enjoyed the walk to the cave and the quiet of the place. We went on a weeknight and no one else was there. Nice wine and very enjoyable.  more »
  • This was our first stop on our winery tour around Ste. Genevieve. A few things the website didn't mention - you have to make a wine purchase to visit the cave and the tasting is $5 for 5 tastes. You c...  more »

  • The wines here are very nice (I liked the Cave Rock Red and the Cave Rock White) but the real attraction of this winery is that they have an old saltpeter cave on the property. You can go into the cave with your wine and snacks and hang out. The cave is very clean and has a few lights and some tables so you can see to eat. It's very romantic. If you aren’t into caves but for some reason you came to a place called Cave Winery, there's a hummingbird feeder by the tasting room which is always surrounded by cute little hummingbirds.
  • Very secluded and quiet. Their is a ride to the cave. Must see
  • I went to Cave Vineyard and had an awesome time. The staff member were very nice. The wine was good. It was a perfect place for a first date. We had a ball. You can make it what you want. laid back or romance date. I love it. We will be back.
  • Don't waste your time driving here. I went to check it out for a family event and as soon as I exited my car and began to walk down the hill to the "cave area", some employee ran out and told me we had to come inside the shop before we could look around. Fine. After entering the shop I was told I couldn't look around unless I bought a bottle of wine. Needless to say I'm not interested in having my event at a place who wants to immediately extort money from me before allowing me to see the venue. Maybe business is poor? Anyway, it was tacky and there are several other more professional establishments around. Don't waste your drive out there.
  • Enjoyed the cave experience every time I went with live music. Will visit again.😎🍷
