  • Excellent venue and service. We had a group of twenty in the upper banquet room and the setup was fantastic.  more »

  • Located in an old building (think it was used for housing police horses or hay), exposed brick abounds. The ladies that brew here do it very well. I enjoyed a Dirty Cow, a combo of two of their brews,...  more »

  • This is a great place. Beer and food are wonderful. Friday fish fry is so fine. Fry basket is huge and a meal in itself . Salads are a great deal. Atmosphere is warm and relaxed. We go here often. Owners are very nice people. We will certainly keep coming to Urban Growler.
  • The Urban Growler is an excellent microbrewery/craftbrewery and taproom located off the beaten path in St. Paul. The beer is excellent and the customer staff are very cheerful. The brewery was started up and is run by two women, which I consider a bonus. There is a small parking lot on site, but also street-side parking as well. When the weather cooperates, there is a nice outdoor patio too. If you need a private place for a party or an after-work function, be sure to ask about their upstairs meeting room which is available for rental and is great for a variety of after hour events. Come try their beer and support a women's owned small business in the process! Cheers!
  • All around great experience. Friendly bartender and friendly customers! Had a beer flight and thoroughly enjoyed their beer. The rhubarb whit beer was my favorite. Must try the carnitas, they were delicious!
  • Fun local walkable brewery. They have there own food and it's excellent! No need to rely on food trucks. Beer is solid as well.
  • I enjoy their beer but they don't refill growlers bought elsewhere so I will not support them. It also is not mentioned on their website.
