Where to stay in Saint Paul

Places to stay in St. Paul sit concentrated in the downtown area. The Lowertown Historic District, which includes some of the city's oldest buildings, makes a particularly attractive option. Hotels, guesthouses, and bed and breakfasts here can put you just steps from the Mississippi River, while the greater downtown area also offers apartment rentals and hostels. Staying downtown also puts you within walking distance of most of the city's prime attractions. Additionally, you'll find a handful of national-chain hotels on the east side of town near Interstate 494 / 694.

  • My favorite market and a great way to start the morning. Music in the morning with a fresh brewed coffee and the hum of the market. I live 3 1/2 hrs away but drive every month to this market for fresh...  more »

  • We were visiting at Minnesota and we found that place! It's a good place more if you are from a running city. All was clean and organized. I just like it!  more »

  • One of best Farmer's markets in the metro area. Saturday is the best day as there are many more vendors than Sunday. Early in the season you will find greenhouse grown potted flowers, herbs, and vegetables ready for planting in your garden. Fresh vegetables are usually from out of state farmers with local produce showing up through the summer. Also a great place for bread, eggs, meats and other Minnesota grown and made products.
  • Difficult (city) parking but great options. The plants I bought this spring are growing better than those bought at big box stores. Great local food.
  • fresh in season produce & excellent selection of perrenials & annuals for gardens. Lots of locally grown & produced goods in a clean festive setting. have been drinking a great locally roasted coffee all week...worth getting up for!
  • Hands down, the best farmer's market in the Twin Cities. The quality of the produce is high, and you will be amazed by the bounty as the summer progresses--if it is in season in Minnesota, you can find it here. In addition to local produce, you can find meat, eggs, cheese, coffee, baked goods, street food and confections. Don't miss the egg rolls, pierogis and cave-aged cheese!
  • Great selection. Vendors are cheerful and helpful. Needs more affordable parking options nearby.
