CHS Field is a baseball park in downtown Saint Paul, Minnesota. It is home to the St. Paul Saints of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball, as well as home to Hamline University's baseball team.HistoryLocated in the historic Lowertown District of Saint Paul, the park is built upon the former site of a long-vacant industrial-use facility. In September 2012, the stadium was approved for $25 million in funding from the Minnesota Legislature. The remainder of the funding for the $64 million project was shared between the city and the Saints. The construction of this new ballpark was prompted in part by the deteriorating state of the Saints' original ballpark, Midway Stadium, which was built in 1982. Midway Stadium was located in an industrial area of Saint Paul, near the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. On September 8, 2014, it was announced that local Fortune 100 business CHS Inc. had acquired the naming rights to the ballpark. The Saints played their first game at the park on May 18, 2015 against the Sioux City Explorers in an exhibition match. The first regular season game was against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks on May 21, 2015.

  • Spectacular in every way! Beautiful ball park with an intimate feel right in downtown. St. Paul Saints are great to watch and a fun way to spend a summer afternoon or evening.
  • CHS Field sits at the end of the line on the edge of lowertown. The Saint Paul Saints play their games there. While it doesn't yet have the funky charm of Midway Stadium it is a very fine ballpark. To...  read more »
  • Went to watch the Saints play. We had tickets in the bleacher section. It was hard to see the ball and the speaker was loud. Later in the game we moved - what a beautiful site!
  • What a great time at the ballpark. A refreshing night of baseball. The quality of play on the field may not compare to that of those in the Majors, but the experience was tailored towards the fans, and at reasonable prices. Great selection of food and drinks for such a small stadium. I was glad we went.
  • CHS Field is spectacular! It has the feeling of an old time ball park jammed into an urban area. The food is really good. The Saints are always doing interesting things between innings. The Saints are also a winning baseball team.
  • What a great place to spend a fun summer day. These people know how to make baseball fun. Winners and losers become irrelevant because it's just so enjoyable. We always get the "drink rail" seats on the concourse because of the great viewing, easy access to vendors and the covered-but-open-air seats that aren't exposed to the weather. Family BBQ areas are available, too. Great selection of local microbrews and "designer" hot dogs really add to the atmosphere. You can't go wrong with a Saints game at CHS Field!
  • Saints new ballpark is awesome. Plenty of parking nearby. Arrive early to walk around and look at all of the different food and drink options. The northwest part of the stadium has a Minnesota Craft Beer section and they have some great selections! Great place for kids. Very reasonable prices as well.
  • CHS is a great downtown ballpark. It is easy to get to, surrounded by beautiful buildings and parks, and features the only winning baseball team in the Twin Cities. The Saints are a fun team to watch. Great times for anyone.
