  • There isn't a lot to see at this fort except a later constructed fort and a video. Best part is understanding its strategic location. Combine this with lunch or trip to st marks wildlife for a day tri...  read more »
  • This is my favorite state park in Florida. Located where the Wakulla and St. Marks Rivers meet, it is the site of Spanish forts dating back to the 1600s. There are old stone walls from the Spanish era...  read more »
  • We visited last weekend primarily to test out our new boat engine at the end of the park. The park is well-equipped, not too crowded with plenty of room for family picnics. I now realize it has a lot ...  read more »
  • This is an amazing and entertaining historical attraction for all ages. The recreations are astounding and the staff (in period garb) are totally engaging. This is not to be missed. Just seeing the recreation of the too big to be believed Apalachee council house is worth the very reasonable admission fee. The orientation movie and classy museum are bonuses.
  • The park staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. While there is not a gift shop as such, they do have a nice selection of both free historical brochures and books (on local topics) available for purchase. The video on the history of the fort is a must-see.
  • The history of this place is amazing. I take my kids here to either play, picnic, or both pretty frequently. If you are in the area you must stop here as the historical significance this quaint little confluence has is pretty amazing. There are graves of Andrew Jackson's soldiers, and flags flying from the many different nations that called this place their own.
  • Wonderful historic site!
