  • The land was donated by Henry Shaw, Shaws Gardens just down the street is another must see during warmer seasons. The park has fresh water plants and many events.  more »
  • We were here last summer and again this winter, and each season had its appeal in the park. Other reviews list the attractions, so I won't repet them. We were staying in an AirBnB apartment nearby and...  more »
  • Lots to see - a proper English-inspired Victorian walking park, with sculptures, vistas, pavilions, quaint bridges, follies in the form of ruins, ponds and fountains and spots for bird watching - and ...  more »

  • A great place to relax and enjoy your leisure time or do something more up tempo. There is a private tennis club in the park you can go to if you have a membership, but there are also several paved that go both along the inside and perimeter. Food Truck Friday is a blast and a must for anyone interested in a fun and unique dining experience.
  • Great place to run and walk. Lots of ball fields. Food Truck Fridays the first Friday and farmers' market every Saturday in the warmer months. Adjacent to South Grand, so there's a bunch of places to eat nearby. The Missouri Botanical Garden in just north of the park. A ton of pravilions to rent, or use if no one has claimed them. There's also a playground and wading pool for the kids.
  • Tower Grove Park is wonderful. It's a large park in the middle of South city well-known for it's athletic fields, weekend kickball leagues, gorgeous running trails, bird sanctuary, and architectural pavilions perfect for family reunions and large picnics. The park also features Food Truck Fridays during the summer, and the tower Grove farmers market on Saturday mornings for much if the year. If you're a St. Louis tourist, I'd say prioritize Forest Park on your list. But if you're a local -or a prospective local-living near Tower Grove is an incredible perk.
  • Large park with great sitting spots, unique architecture and nice walking trails. The playground is ok but not what I come here for. Close in proximity to the Botanical Garden. There are frequently wedding parties snapping photos here and I'm sure they turn out beautifully.
  • Love this park. Very well kept and clean. Safe Park never seen anything sketchy or weird going on here. Always seems like something cool is going on. Check it out on the weekends for a good time.
