Soldiers Memorial Military Museum is operated by the Missouri Historical Society, which also operates the Missouri History Museum in Forest Park and the Library and Research Center on Skinker Boulevard. Beginning in the Spring of 2016, the Museum will close to undergo a multi-million dollar renovation, creating a state-of-the-art museum facility honoring military service, veterans and their families.

  • Currently closed due to renovations as I walked past on 7/25/2016. Website says it is being renovated by the Missouri Historical Society and will reopen in 2018.
  • I've been here for events in the area and to just walk around. It's great for either and will give you a good appreciation of the history.

  • Decent place for festivals and events. A lot of times during special events, you can only access from the south side, off Market St. I've not been in the actual museum before.
