Soldiers Memorial Military Museum is operated by the Missouri Historical Society, which also operates the Missouri History Museum in Forest Park and the Library and Research Center on Skinker Boulevard. Nice small museum with good displays. 1 hour and you can look at everything. We were there during Sista Strut Walk and local radio station was blaring hip hop but not the end of world. Kids were ready... read more »
Currently closed due to renovations as I walked past on 7/25/2016. Website says it is being renovated by the Missouri Historical Society and will reopen in 2018.
I've been here for events in the area and to just walk around. It's great for either and will give you a good appreciation of the history.
Great space for events!
Decent place for festivals and events. A lot of times during special events, you can only access from the south side, off Market St. I've not been in the actual museum before.
