Not sure why, this museum is not one of my favorites. Big concrete building, doesn't have much character in my opinion, and the exhibits in the lower level are claustrophobic. Looking at other reviews... read more »
Such a spectacular architectural jewel provided a stunning setting for beautifully curated exhibitions of Calder, Tuttle and Sandback exhibitions. A must see! And admission is free.
This is an unusual facility visually but stimulating simultaneously. I'm not really enthused about contemporary, modern, or the minimalist movement. The pool is cool. You'll enjoy and won't be disappointed.
Really an amazing gallery. Temporary exhibits coupled with a few permanent pieces. Don't forget to see the Richard Sera sculpture in the courtyard.
Great exhibition about tribals masks and their significance. Both art and computer science intersecting.
I love museums done by internationally renown architects, it brings inaccessible art to the Midwest. I went with my family on a free Saturday and had a great time. The building expanded my view on minimalist architecture, a beautiful structure with no adornment, not even paint, just clean lines and right proportions. As a carpenter the level of detail is astounding. Truly a work of art to put art in.
