  • I'm afraid that this is the best you can get around here. Sure ain't like Vegas. The requisite things are present, with gaming tables and slots and such. But feels very run down and not exciting. Some...  more »

  • I've never actually stayed at the hotel but the casino is terrible. Tightest slots ever! I've been to many of the area's casinos being a native but this one never pays out. The machines are bottomless...  more »

  • Rooms at this hotel are dated an not that nice. Only stay here if you have to. If you want a nice hotel, upgrade to the FOUR SEASONS right across the casino lot. FOUR Seasons is excellent where Lumiere Place is a Holiday Inn at best. I like the options at the Casino for bars, dining and games. But I would not stay at the Lumiere Place again. Save up for a better hotel, like the Four Seasons or the nearby Westin Downtown.
  • I went to the Kitchen buffet and paid a hefty price of $27 for a chicken buffet.. They had about 10 meals that were chicken base.. Fried chicken, smoked chicken, chicken&dumplings, roasted chicken, chicken Alfredo, barbecue chicken thighs, sweet&sour chicken, chicken on a stick, etc etc.... Other meats were roast beef and catfish nuggets.. Salad bar had 6 items and that's the truth.. Next time I will try the Asian fusion which across from it.. Also I recommend if that's your kind of buffet I suggest going to Golden Corral before you visit this casino it's only $8.99..
  • It can be tricky getting here the first time. We don't care for the Hotel. It's a giant box with all the rooms facing into the large atrium. The hotel and casino are connected by a Skyway. Lumiere place is just a very short walk from laclede's Landing. Restaurants gift shops everything a tourist needs. Lumiere place is also next door to the Four Seasons which is a very upscale Hotel and very cool too. Lumiere place no longer has valet parking so we were very disappointed in that. Why would you get rid of valet parking? It's not a bad place to stay we just don't like the way it's laid out.
  • Nicely furnished. Staff was incredibly courteous and helpful even to a newcomer like myself that kept making mistakes. They even went as far as to tell me the smartest move to make. Will definitely be back
  • Great, comfortable stylish hotel with an indoor causeway to their casino and restaurants. Large rooms with living and dining areas, modern bathrooms, and euro style furniture. Pool and fitness centre still under renovation, but rooms can be had for around $100.
