  • The place was clean and staff friendly. Just remember that the animals are wild and give them lots of space. The hiking trails were awesome and horse and dog friendly
  • A tough trail (climbing over downed trees and a trail only marked by slightly less leaves), but beautiful. The elk were so close it was almost scary! There's times were you can see nothing but the woods.
  • Love the views. Elk. Bison. Deer. Most are friendly and you can drive right up to them. Awesome park and I'm glad some care enough to fence in these awesome creatures so they don't get hit by that highway.
  • I think is a bit overpriced. But lovely place to spend whole day. It would be nice IF it was a bit more slides etc.
  • Lots of wildlife and a natural path made this a fun hike. The path is well marked and easy to follow but it feels like walking an animal track as it wanders around the park and the lake. You can stay on the road and just drive through and likely see Elk but the Bison can be hit or miss (no hiking in Bison area). Pants and bug spray are highly recommended if you go hiking as it's an overgrown trail and there are warnings about heavy chigger and tick population - though not a huge issue. The World Bird Sanctuary and access to Chubb trail are also very close by so it's easy to mix and match activities here.
