  • We went to the 1st Mississippi Nights Music fest. Firday night had one outdoor stage with free bands, Saturday, the street was gated off and cost $10 each for 3 stages, 2 indoors, one outside. The mus...  more »
  • This place could be cool & interesting because of the history (supposedly where the founder of St Louis first landed on shore) but it died not live up to the hype. The streets are old brick & narrow &...  more »
  • This is a very historical area and it looks neat. Even the roads are made of old brick. There just wasn't that much to do there. Maybe if we had been there in the evening time instead of mid-morning, ...  more »

  • This area has so much potential! Beautiful old brick buildings and streets, right by the water. It seems the casino across the block had a really negative impact on business and most of the buildings on the landing are vacant. It's nice to walk around in, but don't expect any retail. There are a few restaurants and bars that have remained.
  • The nicest neighborhood is Missouri. I love to walk around noticing how historical is this place.
  • It seems like every time I visit, there's less and less to see. A few staple businesses holding on, and a lot of papered windows on vacant buildings. It would be great to see this area come back to life, given the charm it could have.
  • Nothing going on. Lots of empty buildings. We were extremely disappointed. Restaurants were just typical every day run of Mill food, at least the ones that were open. No kinds of shopping at all.
  • Not much open anymore besides the casino
