  • As we came in the winter there was not too much to do. Expect to be a really fun place to come to in the spring and summer
  • We found parking just across the street and off we went. This is a true farmers market with fresh produce and competitive prices. Lots of spots for a bite to eat. Especially enjoyed the tiny donuts! C...  more »
  • While the "Market" is 100 miles from home, I use to come here and get things (condiments, spices, meats, etc.) that I would not normally find in my local 'small town' markets. I stopped by, specifical...  more »

  • Just went back for the first time in a couple years and absolutely nothing has changed. I though this market was supposed to be renovated? It's a fun experience with good vendors but the building has seen better days.
  • Fantastic market atmosphere in a downtown setting. My daughter and I go once a week to see the live animals and music. Plus we can get a cold drink, something sweet and then off to Soulard Park. After the park daddy gets to shop some local produce. Big fun!
  • A favorite memory since I was a kid was coming down to Soulard Market. Now the hubby and I walk or bike down most Saturdays for fruits, vegetables, spices, meats, scarves, pretty much whatever we need. People are great and the smells are even better.
  • Lots of vendors with fresh vegetables, pastas, various sunglasses, scarves. Big draws are shops dedicated to spices and a butcher shop.
  • I went a bit too early on a weekday, so there weren't a lot of vendors. The people I did visit were very friendly and helpful. Nice neighborhood with other local shops and historic architecture. Walkable from the arch if you have good shoes and weather.
