  • This was one of the most wonderful museums I've ever visited. What made it stand out is that the original Furnishings, as they were in the 1850s, had been restored. Even after the neighborhood declined, the Campbell house stayed in place because of the afflictions of one of the sons. There were photographs of the Interior so the restores knew exactly what to do and how the furniture was arranged. It was fascinating.
  • An amazing mansion in downtown Saint Louis completely restored to period. So opulent with many original furnishings dont miss the carriage house ! This place is gorgeous! US Grant came to dinner there when he was president. Also I think very haunted...
