Mount Mora Cemetery is the oldest public cemetery in St. Joseph, Missouri. Among those who are buried in the cemetery are three governors, a U.S. senator, soldiers from both sides in the American Civil War and riders of the Pony Express.The cemetery was added to the National Register of Historic Places in July 2006.   • Enjoyed an afternoon of exploring this beautiful cemetery. Be sure to see the mausoleums just to your left as you enter. A good way to see a history of an area unveiled here.  more »

  • I love this place! Filled with so much history of Saint Joseph! I do a lot of photo shooting here...just of the plots and that sort of thing. Its a wonderful place and everyone should visit it at least once.
