  • Ok, sounds hokie but it is well done and a lot of fun. Tom and Connie give a great tour through the decades in the evolution of ways to get rid of dirt. From before electricity to present day. It is a...  more »
  • It was an hour of entertainment. Very interesting and great ads on the walls. We had our 14 year old son along and he said it was better than he expected.  more »

  • What a quirky place. When we saw the sign for the "Largest Vacuum Cleaner Museum in the World," we knew we had to stop. It was pretty geriatric, but maybe the elderly just know where it's at. The exhibits were so interesting! Our guide was even better. Would be a great stop for a family road trip. Or as a scene from a comedy about a family road trip.
  • A must stop on your way through. It's a quirky, fun place that is just plain cool to visit!
  • What an absolutely wonderful place! My son loves vacuums so Connie took lots of time to show us through the museum giving demonstrations and engaging my kids the whole way. There are many more vacuums here than what I was expecting and Connie can tell you about every one of them. Fun trip!!
  • Did you know that vacuum cleaners have headlights because when they were invented, most homes didn't have enough outlets for both the lamp and the vacuum? Curiosity got the best of us and we decided to stop by, with low expectations. We were thoroughly impressed by the quality of the museum and the tour, which was given by Connie, an original employee of the adjacent factory. Beware that you may get a bit of a pitch for their products at the end, but the tour is worth the stop.
  • Love this place. Staff is so knowledgeable friendly and amazing Take the time to stop it is well worth it.
