  • We stopped here on our way to Tablerock Lake on a Friday afternoon. The atmosphere was a great combo of open and airy yet warm and "pub-like." Our waitress was very nice and greeted us right away. She had good recommendations on the beer and food. And the food, oh my gosh was the food good. We both got the burger and it was amazing. We also got some bottled beer to take on the road to the Lake with us. All-in-all it will now be our planned stopping point for every drive West on 44.
  • We came here last night for the beer, which was very good - did the Hefeweizen and the Thorn & Heat Strawberry wheat, both were great! Hit some wineries this morning and the Public House house was recommended to us for lunch so we went back to try the food. I had the Reuben and my mom had the schnitzel, again both were great. Danielle was our server during both visits and she was awesome! She recommended several local sights including the Giddy Goat, which we visited and was also quite good. Two thumbs up!
  • Barkeep found a brew that fit my taste. We had a Rubin a burger german potato salad and dessert pretzels. All were tasty. Very pleasant.
  • Good beer, friendly staff and one hell of a beer garden. First time here and have to call the IPA my favorite. Sat out back in the beer garden where they have Bags (corn hole), Bocce ball, giant sized chess board certified and some great landscaping. Look forward to coming back next time I am in town!
  • Vary beautiful place. Came here for Mother's Day with a group and they were vary accommodating. There's options for people who don't drink. Great food and great atmosphere. Outdoor area is beautiful and very open.
