  • My family has been camping here for 60+ years and we love it. We get a site right on the water in the lower campground and the views are amazing. It is a great and relaxing vacation every year. My onl...  more »
  • This was our first trip north of Big Mac. The views were amazing with a small child still in a stroller we could only do one of the two options of views offered. Still well worth it!
  • We accidentally discovered The Straights Park last year, and we regretted we only saw it at sunset. So this year, we made a point to visit again. There are wonderful views to be had of the gorgeous Mi...  more »

  • Checked in, popped my tent, purchased wood, made a campfire. The DNR drove by a few times, I nodded to one of them while I was having my morning coffee, he nodded back. Must be friendly. Bathrooms were clean, newer with dyson hand dryers, they dry my hands. The toilets flushed, the showers cleaned me. It has a nice view of the bridge. It's a campground, I go, I sleep, eat and have a fire. What else can I say??
  • Absolutely horrid signage. A very confusing park to navigate and poor availability of services. I have been to most of the prominent campgrounds on the eastern side of the Upper Peninsula and this is by far the worst.
  • Great views, friendly people and clean bathrooms! We had a lakeside camp site which was goregeous. Definitely buy wood from the folks who sell in the park, not from the local grocery stores! He gives you wood that's dry, cheaper and in bigger bundles!
  • The location couldnt be any better. What a view of the bridge! The sites were clean, as were the restrooms and showers. We stayed for 3 days and enjoyed ever second of it. The firewood bundles are fairly priced. Great place, cant wait to go again.
  • This is a great park and campground with excellent views of the Straits and the bridge. Also some nice private lots and new and clean restroom facilities.
