The Penn Center recognizes a significant part of American history, specifically African American. Everyone who visits the area should give their support to the Penn Center. Interesting insights into the history of the area. Walk out to the water and the little dock they've built there to get a bit of a breeze and break from the heat of the rest of the site. Or walk into the visitor's center where they have A/C.
This was a wonderful experience....so much african history....It reminded me once more to be proud of who I am.
I really love the history here. There is always a mandatory visit to Penn Center when I bring my friends down here from Columbus, Ohio
