  • A beautiful plantation home in St Francisville. The grounds are lovely, and the home tour is fascinating.
  • a great planlation
  • such a nice place...friendly staff and very helpful
  • This place is nice, really well kept. Luckily we went to Myrtles first and found it to be disgusting with cigarette butts and beer bottles all over the grounds. This place was a refreshing change of scenery after that. The tour of the house was nice and long enough, the grounds were expansive and immaculate. There was a public restroom on the perimeter of the place that was spotless and actually smelled nice inside.
  • I'm glad we stopped at this Plantation because it was so well preserved by previous owners and the state. The entry has an exquisite wall covering and well preserved home items (I think 90 percent of the house items are original). What was most moving is that the house still has the original staircase that was used by its slaves--which turns out to be very moving to see in person. The gardens are magnificent and are historically accurate. And important to all, the restrooms are very well kept and important to a girl on the road!
