  • This was an interesting stop during our visit to St. Francisville. It is a well maintained facility.
  • One of the oldest churches in LA. Surrounded by oaks and cemetery.nice music for masses? We live across the Mississippi River but make the 15 or so mile trip frequently
  • I love exploring St. Francisville because it's so historically beautiful and when I do visit I always make sure to stop by this cemetery. I love the Gothic Revival architecture, it's hauntingly beauti...  more »

  • It's definitely a must if you are tooling around St Francisville LA. We enjoyed the beauty of the church and peacefulness of the grounds and great oaks. I am spoiled by Nola cemeteries.. Nothing compares.
  • So Beautiful and Picturesque. You will want to take pictures or video when you see how lovely this place looks all around the grounds. Both sets of pew are divided down the middle. I thought it was to segregate male from female or color but have learned it was to divide young from old. Still not clear on the purpose.
  • My great grand parents are buried in the cemetery there and my grandparents were married there!!
  • One of the most beautiful locations in all of Louisiana. If you're in the area, take time to make a stop.
  • If you are sight seeing in the area don't miss this church and graveyard. The oak and pecan trees filled with Spanish moss are beautiful.
