  • One of the oldest plantation houses. In addition, here the "birder" Audubon bird prints made part of his famous. The tour of the House is worth. In the visitor centre is an exhibition on the cotton production to see.

  • Only planting with this architecture there in this region where more than 2000 plantations have coexisted. We liked the visit but really wished to do it only in English. Our "broken english" However enabled us to understand the vast majority of our English-speaking guide said. At a minimum, there should be at least an explanation of the parts visited on a document in French.

  • This was an interesting historical location with some stories pertaining to Audubon, the artist. The location has been kept, as much as possible, as it would have been when he was there for 3 months. ...  more »
