  • My daughter loves animals of all kinds so this place was heaven for her. There are deer, sheep, goats, geese, peacocks, and others just wandering around the grounds. Buy some bags of food to feed them from your hand. There are also pens with woodchucks, porcupine, gray wolf, badgers, llamas, miniature horses and cows and pigs, goats, and more. Plus there's a petting area with bunnies. When we were there we got to see them take the wolf out of its cage on a leash. Overall we spent about 3 hours there which is probably longer than average. It was well worth the drive from the Twin Cities.
  • It's a great place for kids of all ages, adults too. Nicely kept grounds and all the animals looked healthy that I saw. The animals knew how to play the crowd - if you didn't have food, they looked for someone else who did. There's a coupon on the website for discount on animal food, by the way. We took a 1 yr old boy and he loved it
  • The deer were foaming at the mouth. They looked really sick. I was mortified I was going to make my animals at home sick by passing germs. The mountain lion that is kept in isolation was pacing in the cage that was way too small for it. It was surrounded by deer that were being fed by humans. The cage did not look very secure either. If they re-homed the mountain lion, and the coyote and any other predators they had confined in the hot summer sun to tiny cages to a peaceful sanctuary, and took care of the sickly deer it would be a beautiful park and a great place to take your kids to pet the deer! They do not need the predators and people who love animals would go there every weekend. However, until they stop the animal cruelty of keeping the mountain lion and the coyotes caged I will not be back. Also, if the deer get healthy and the animals are re-homed I will delete this review once the animals are treated humanely. Also if it is the food making the deer sick, we would gladly pay more for a better quality food.
  • Excellent experience! Fun for kids and adults! The staff is great!
  • This place is amazing!!! All animals are very well kept and very friendly. The kids had so much fun. We will definitely be returning.
