  • This is a small place and doesn’t take long but it is very educational. They have the largest collection of snakes (mostly venomous but not all are) that I have seen from all over the world. They...  more »

  • Awesome place!! Very authentic. The owner, George Van Horn is amount the very few people in the world to survive a full blown King Cobra venomous bite. It bit him 3 times in a row injecting tremendous amount of venom!! He has the scars to show it. Super nice guy and a great person to talk to. Staff is very friendly and educational. That was my second time there. Can’t wait to visit again.
  • We had a great time seeing all the different species of snakes, lizards, turtles, the croc, the gators, and even the birds. I thoroughly enjoyed the king cobra and monocled cobra, I was blown away by the sheer size of the king cobra. I highly recommend coming for the venom show, very interesting and intense. We will definitely be back again soon.
  • Amazing place with lots of cool information about the animals! All the reptiles were great as well. The people that do the venom show are amazing! Great way to spend the afternoon.
  • We took our 7 year old grandson and our 10 year old grandson. They both loved it! My husband and myself enjoyed it as well. Very informative! This place is a real treasure, we'll definitely be back!
  • All out strange place. The place is super dark and dreary. Some snakes you can't even see even with your phone flashlight. It reminds me of the Texas Chainsaw movie. The poor snakes don't even look happy if that is even a thing they can look lol. The king cobra had some sort of infection in one of it's eyes and under skin. The worker said they notice but it isn't easy checking out a big snake like that. If you can't do it call a vet. If you can't afford a vet that can check the reptile out then donate it to someone who can. Don't just keep it for your collection to say you own one 😞. Each corner where you look at the snake enclosures had what could be poisonous spiders on your side of the glass so be careful where you put your hands especially children. It looks like this place is holding on to the memories of what used to be. They weren't even going to do a show when we were there because it was only us. The lady said no and the owner said yes they will. My 2 year old granddaughter went to pet the owners wandering dog who looked retirement age and it bit her and ran behind the desk. No blood was drawn so we didn't make a big fuss but it happened right infront of the owner who said the dog doesn't bite just gives a little warning. No sir it was a 4 finger bite straight into your dogs mouth. If the dog doesn't like children to pet it why is it allowed to be around customers especially off a leash?! This place is 100% creepy. You can see the owner has a passion for snakes. I am not sure if I believe he still donates the venom but if so that is the only thing going for this place. Maybe they need more visitors for financial support I am not sure but it sure needs some kind of help.
