  • Very calm, quaint museum with a simplistic and rustic set up. Provides a nice little overview of the Lewis and Clark expedition and has a great outlook over the river. Good place to stop for an hour or so with a partner, friend, or kids. The gift shop is well stocked with fun souvenirs and books. I found some nice arrowhead and crystal jewelry, if you are interested in collecting them. The owners and operators are very friendly and sweet, and so is their elderly dog. Stop by for an easy, relaxed summer afternoon activity.
  • Was ok stop. Gave kids a sheets to hunt for animals. Unfortunately didn't leave us much time to look kids were bored. Had a display with villages etc but so juvenile. I could have done a better job. Place was clean and worker was very friendly.
  • Fun place to learn history. Great place to go hiking.
  • Little museum on the riverfront. I love looking at the old keelboats.
  • Interesting to see actual sizes of boats and instruments used to camp, build, and give medicine.
